The Winter Leadership Summit is designed to both spark leadership potential in students who have no prior experience with the topic but would like to get started, and seasoned student leaders who want to further develop their personal and professional skills. Participants will have the opportunity to bolster their learning, while also engaging other students, faculty and professional staff on what leadership development means on campus.
Learning Outcomes
- Participants will examine, assess and build upon their current leadership skills.
- Participants will be able to apply the knowledge gained at Spark in their respective roles and/or future roles.
- Participants will participate in the identifying of key enablers driving the building and support of student leadership on campus.
- Participants will be able to recognize and share a sense of purpose in the York community.
